Today marks the FIRST DAY OF MY INTERNSHIP FOR THE NEXT 3 SEMS.
XD
It was kinda exciting yet really tiring. ^^" I remember waking up from an epic dream, wondering why on earth did I set an alarm on Saturday. XD Then I remembered the internship. Sigh... Best, my usual empty train from the depot doesn't appear on Saturdays, so I had to ride on a CROWDED train to school. Zzz. And I hate crowds in an enclosed area.
Actually, I hate crowds, period. I love my personal space too much. XP
But today was more of a revision of what we had learnt, so that we are not too blur when we go over to the actual TCM clinic for internship. It was very fun to revisit my favourite module that I have learnt: 诊断. It's basically diagnosis, but it's really interesting.
I could say it's like a puzzle, where I have to use the clues from the patient to find out what is the illness he/she has, and I have to know what 方药 to use to cure the patient.
Except my ability in 方剂 is not very good. So I have to keep referring to the textbook (Kyoya's, actually) And my knowledge is 草药 is also negligible, so I have difficulty modifying the 方 to fit the patient. Zzz...
So basically, I know how to diagnose the patient but I have no idea how to cure him/her. I'm such a wonderful doctor.
But today was good. We formed a group of 9 and further divided ourselves into 2 sub-groups. The other group has my Darling, so I went with the other group. (Btw, I also had a "lovely" reminder that I'm not really considered a girl. Hooray?)
I was really nervous that I would SUCK at 问诊. Cause if I remember correctly, that the section I didn't do really well in. My worst is 望诊, cause my observation skills kinda sucks... Anyway, I realised that in practice, 问诊 is actually not that difficult. I really felt like a detective. I have to ask to get the clues, form hypothesis, find links and evidences among the lists of symptoms, etc.
Although, I suppose we had it easy, because we practised on sample and practice cases. In actual cases, the patient may not have symptoms that fit a 证 so exactly, and may have other non-related symptoms that we may have to take note of. So yeah... It's a lot of fun. =^^=
---------------------------------------------------------------
My dream last night was odd. Apparently, some 10-year-old-looking girl was trying to take over the world or something by singing. O.o And I was part of the opposition force who is supposed to stop her... Or at least I think I was...
For some reason, the only part about me that I can remember from my dream is me being in some rundown green pub-looking place, and I was supposed to sleep with this person, whose role I have forgotten. Anyway, that person was Sam... O.O But in the dream, he wasn't my brother... More like, my agent... But somehow, I remembered feeling damn awkward in the dream... And no, nothing happened. The last thing I remembered of myself and my brother is both of us staring at each other in shock, with this sense of awkwardness between us.
And the last thing I remembered of the antagonist is her, with short hair (shoulder-length actually), with a crow-looking thing (crow, cause I only remembered black feathers) on her shoulder, and the silhouette of something that looked vaguely like Napoleon in the background. And my section leader was supposed to compete with her in a singing battle.
Odd dream, no?
XD Anyway, it was then my alarm rang, and I lost the pieces of most of my dream.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Ah well... I have odd dreams, I know. This one's colour theme is more blue and black though... The previous really odd dream I had had a colour theme of purple. That one was way freaky.
I was playing a game of chess (international) with God-knows-who, and somehow it became from me playing chess, to me being inside the chess itself. And the lines on the board are actually rows of buildings, and somehow, the rows of buildings turn into a maze. FYI, everything was glowing a really eerie shade of purple. I also remember that there was someone controlling the whole game. It was a girl who looked like Sadako from The Ring. Except she looks more alive, though equally pale.
The last thing I remembered from that dream is some tarot-looking cards, with the Sadako look-alike telling me in a really creepy voice "There are two gatekeepers". And a gate appearing out of nowhere, with a black swirling vortex within the gate...
That dream was occurred somewhere around Sec 3. I'm amazed I remembered it... XD Actually... Not so amazed. ^^" I tend to remember most of my dreams. But hey, they're weird enough to be well-remembered. But I always remember them in bits and pieces and never the full picture.
Some leaves a really strong impression after I wake up, like this dream to some place called Lebanor... When I woke up, I had a strong urge to pack my bag and leave the house... And the sensation of flying/falling when I dreamt I was some ninja-like person being chased by cops somwhere in London. (That was the first dream I remembered really vividly, apparently I was supposed to steal a vase of some kind).
Others are make my heart sped and I wake up with an adrenaline rush. Like being chased by zombies, like those in "28 Weeks". Or playing hide-and-seek with zombies from some other apocolypse, and escaping by flying a helicopter only to crash it cause I can't fly it and to be saved by other survivors who happen to have savage, hungry werewolves for neighbours, with a healthy appetite for me for breakfast.
Or riding on MRT trains/railway trains that somehow got turned into some rollercoaster of doom, of which I remember seeing green, glowing ghosts like that in LOTR floating in the trains... (Except the dream occurred before LOTR was released)
And other really weird dreams that make absolutely no sense, but they still captivate me all the same. Like when I was being chased by... something, and I had difficulty moving (like my limbs were weighed down) and for some reason, I wanted to hide in school... But the gates were locked. Zzz...
Or when I was attacked by this really creepy/sexy lady with blonde hair and I had no idea to be freaked out or excited. =/
Or when I found some secret hide-away in my secondary school, and I was exploring those places with some people from Wushu. (Except in real life, I didn't really like these people...)
----------------------------------------------------------
And now that I look back, I realised all my dreams are quite dramatic. XDDD And adventurous. Hahaha!
